We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager to accelerate your knowledge and career to the next level. This is a hybrid role with at least 3 days in the office, but for the duration of the training period, you will be expected to be in office.







Responsibilities:

1. Complete Daily Bank Reconciliations across multiple entities and accounts.
2. Manage the accounting operations including the postings of journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable and statutory reporting as needed.
3. Review the bank account transfers processing & monitor the cash flow requirements.
4. Assist Controller with month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting across multiple legal entities.
5. Investigate posting errors and transfer discrepancies.
6. Review and Compile Vendor management documentation, flag upcoming contract renewals.
7. Prepare ad-hoc financial reports for Agents.
8. Review Agent Billings before processing and investigate errors/discrepancies.
9. Monitor credit card activity, perform follow up activities with the card holders and post transactions.
10. Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
11. Ensure adherence to corporate policies,





accounting standards and relevant regulatory requirements, conducting regular reviews for compliance.
12. Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency and safeguard company assets.
13. Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings, providing actionable recommendations.
14. Coordinate and support internal and external audits, preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries in a timely manner.
15. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, collaborating with department heads to align financial goals and provide insights based on financial data.
16.





Work with the accounting and deals staff to ensure all accounting functions and financial reporting activities are completed on an accurate and timely basis.
17. Other duties as assigned by the Corporate Controller.

Requirements:

1. Must have experience with LoneWolf.
2. Bachelor's degree in accounting or working towards CPA.
3. 3+ years of accounting experience.
4. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is an asset as this role requires working with large datasets.
5. Extremely detail-oriented with a high level of initiative and ability to multitask.
6. Independent worker and team player.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Excellent analytical skills and organizational skills.
9.





Experience in real estate, brokerage or legal, an asset.
10. Experience with one or more of the following is an asset: Brokerwolf, Xero, Clio, Quickbooks.
