École Routhier School is situated in the heart of northwestern Alberta’s Smoky River region which is an area comprised of approximately 5,000 residents and is predominantly driven by agriculture and agriculture sectors as well as the oil and gas industry. The school prides itself on an ability to offer quality instruction to students from ERS to Grade 6 in a dual-track program of French Immersion and an English program.





Ecole Routhier is seeking a cook to prepare lunch for students in accordance with the Alberta Nutritional Guidelines for Children and Youth . This position involves: · menu planning · preparation, cooking and handling of food · purchasing supplies · working with studentsThe successful candidate for this position will: · Enjoy working with students and the public · Current Food Safety Certificate · Have a valid drivers’ license and reliable vehicleAssets to your application: · Standard First Aid · Previous experience working in a concession/catering capacity · Culinary arts education/training or work experienceRequirements: Cover Letter and Resume Three professional references Successful candidates must produce an ORIGINAL , acceptable, recent (less than six months old) Criminal Record Check which must include a Vulnerable Sector Check.
