Are you someone eager to learn with a keen attention to detail, punctual, organized, and proactive.
Halton Vision Care is looking for an administrative assistant/ front desk management- to join our team.
There is great potential to grow and evolve!
This position includes( but not limited to) the following responsibilities:
- Reception duties/ Administrative Assistant duties: assisting with administrative and operational activities.
- Greeting visitors at reception with a friendly attitude.
- Registering patient.
- Insurance billing and accurate invoice/billing management.
- Preparing, organizing and storing information in paper and digital form.
- Dealing with queries on the phone, by email and fax on a daily basis.
- Managing patient referrals.
- Scheduling patients
- Patient recalls
- Frame styling
- Dispensing of eyewear & contact lenses
- Providing assistance to Optometrist in performing optometric assessments and education to patients
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and QuickBooks
- Strong data entry and clerical skills
- Excellent customer service and phone etiquette
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems
- Experience in medical or dental office settings is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Milton, ON L9T 9M1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
