Project Accountant

Robert Half is seeking a Project Accountant for an exciting new contract opportunity located in Toronto, Ontario. This Project Accountant position will be a hybrid role working for a local Architecture Firm, and will offer lots of room for growth! The Project Accountant will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including data entry, process improvements, and digitization efforts.

The successful candidate will have a proactive approach and be able to work independently.

Responsibilities :

- Handle a significant amount of data entry tasks with accuracy
- Assist in process improvements and digitization of various functions
- Scan and set up files as part of digitization efforts






- Use accounting software systems to maintain accurate records
- Balance Sheet Account maintenance and auditing
- Use ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for various accounting functions
- Contribute to Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
- Utilize Deltek Vision for data entry tasks
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an Project Accounting role required
- Prior experience using the software Deltek VantagePoint
- Strong communication skills, initiative, and attention to detail
- Intermediate-level Excel
- Experience working in the Architecture or Engineering field preferred
- Strong data entry skills
- Prior experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
