Redstone Commodity Search are working with an International Producer and Manufacturer of aluminium and non-ferrous metals looking to hire a Senior Non-Ferrous RSI Trader to join their team based in Missouri. Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Handling the lifecycle of the aluminium RSI, including the buying, selling and processing.
- Travel to meet with suppliers,
consumers and processors as well as attend events which expand knowledge and develop relationships.
- Utilise other internal teams, such as logistics and finance, and collaborate to improve operations and make them more efficient.
- Building on the current book of business, expanding and curating new relationships with customers and providing solutions in a timely and efficient manner both within the US and internationally.
- Role reports to Vice President of Global Scrap.
Key Qualifications / Experience
- At least 10 years within the aluminium Remelt Scrap Ingot industry – preferably with both the technical understanding and commercial experience.
- A relevant bachelor’s degree is required, further education is preferred.
- Experience within the scrap aluminium market, with an understanding of pricing trends, supply chain dynamics with buyers, and the proficiency in using the trading platforms to perform these tasks.
- Attention to detail is needed, with strong analytical and problem solving skills required.
- Role is to be located in Saint Louis, Missouri, although hybrid remote is possible.
