Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary, full-time IT Business Office Analyst to work for our client in Calgary, AB.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in optimizing our IT workforce, tracking resources, and enhancing space planning initiatives. Your collaboration with the Human Resources & IT team will be crucial in ensuring that our organization's IT staffing aligns with strategic business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in IT workforce planning and space management, strong analytical skills to interpret data in an IT context, and proficiency in workforce management tools like SAP, Workday, SuccessFactors, and Oracle.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute comprehensive IT workforce planning analyses, considering current and future staffing needs, skill requirements, and alignment with IT and organizational goals.
- Collaborate closely with the HR team to develop and maintain accurate workforce tracking systems, ensuring real-time, reliable data for effective decision-making.
- Engage in IT-focused space planning activities, evaluating workspace utilization,
and recommending improvements for optimal efficiency and collaboration.
- Generate IT-centric reports and present key findings to stakeholders, offering insights into IT workforce trends, space utilization, and actionable recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with IT and cross-functional teams to understand departmental needs and align workforce and space planning strategies with IT project timelines.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in IT workforce planning, contributing to continuous improvement efforts within the IT domain.
Deliverables:
- Analysis and Reporting: A key deliverable is the comprehensive analysis for IT workforce plan, along with ongoing monitoring and reporting to ensure real-time, reliable data for effective decision-making.
- Collaboration and Liaison: Collaborating with IT key stakeholder, HR team and Office Services is crucial to achieve desired results and ensure the implementation of appropriate improvement initiatives.
- Effective Controls and Processes: The IT Business Office Analyst is expected to establish and maintain effective controls and processes for IT workforce planning and related space planning activities.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in IT workforce planning and space management within the IT industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights within an IT context.
- Proficient in using workforce management tools and software with a specific emphasis on IT-related platforms, such as SAP, Workday,
Success Factor, Oracle etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with HR, IT professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in data analysis within an IT framework.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving IT work environment.
