Driver / Service Technician (Full Time) - Vancouver, BC (Starting wage: $40 an hour)
Responsibilities:
- Installation of Microbulk tanks, gas mixers and nitrogen generators
- Maintenance and service of rental equipment and inventory of parts
- Perform equipment calibrations and complete permitting reports
- Troubleshooting, minor repair and maintenance of Microbulk tankers
- Handle or assist with troubleshooting of equipment problems
- Future participation in paid "On-call" rotation on evenings and weekends
- Purchase of non-standard or immediate requirement parts
Qualifications:
Education:
- High school graduate or equivalent experience
Skills and Experience:
- Class 3 driver's license required with a minimum of 2 years of Class 3 driving experience
- Experience driving a tanker-style truck, preferred
- Good physical fitness and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Team player who has a strong focus on customer & safety and works well contractors
- A very strong working knowledge of computers, tablets and smart phones running Windows and Android
- Well organized with great attention to detail
- Self-motivated individual, capable of working with minimum supervision
- Available to work overtime and stay out of town in hotels when required
- Required annual Drug & Alcohol tests for customer access requirements
