Job Description: Reporting to the Senior Public Health Inspector and the Manager of Public Health, the successful candidate will use their knowledge and skills to enforce The Public Health Act,
1994 and The Tobacco Control Act with their associated regulations. Teamwork is a vital part of this position in conjunction with the Public Health Nurses under the Primary Health Care portfolio. The Public Health Inspection department works very closely with diverse departments in the Saskatchewan Health Authority, community partners and other government agencies at municipal, provincial and federal levels to provide excellent care to the people of Saskatchewan. The wide range of field duties of this position requires good independent judgment and risk assessment to ensure quality and safety for the public. Above regular inspections, the PHI is also involved with promotion, education and enforcement of Communicable Disease including Rabies, plumbing and private sewage and water. Considerable travel is involved throughout the Southwest area that this office serves.

- Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health (BSEH)
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Certificate in Public Health Inspector (Canada) (CPHI(C))
