About the Client
Our client is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst on a 3-month contract with permanent potential.

About the Opportunity

- Prepare and post complex journal entries in accordance with GAAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Conduct detailed reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports, providing insightful analysis of financial performance






- Analyze variances between actual results and budgeted figures, preparing reports that communicate findings and recommend actions for improvement
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries
- Mentor and train junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team

About You

- CPA or CPA in progress
- 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or accounting
- Strong proficiency in financial software and Excel
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Manufacturing industry experience is an asset but not required
