- Shift and Schedule: Typically Monday to Friday day shifts, odd closing shift as well as weekends may be required on occasion

Job Summary:
Popeye’s Supplements Guelph is recruiting for a Full Time Store Manager to join our team. The Store Manager will report directly to the Director of Store Operations. The successful applicant for this position will be responsible for managing their direct team at Popeye’s Guelph (typically 4-5 other associates), operating the store 40 hours per week Monday to Friday (some weekends will be necessary during larger sales events) and will be mainly focused on operating the store in a fashion that will increase net sales and drive customers into the store.
This position is subject to Popeye’s Supplements personnel and administrative policies as well as high levels of confidentiality in relation to store information. The successful applicant will also be given an extensive training program to assist with supplement knowledge regardless of any prior information known before starting this position.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creating a working store schedule within the weekly allotment of hours given by the Director of Store Operations
- Responsible for ensuring all staff are appropriately trained and informed within all categories of the store and fully up to date with any on-going promotions
- Develop a solid communication link with all staff via Whatsapp
- Receiving purchase orders and handling invoices from suppliers to ensure that inventory is consistently up to date
- Monthly inventory audit to uphold accurate information regarding all products in the database
- Demonstrate ability to comprehend and keep store reorder points on products up to date
- Upholding the integrity of the store setup to satisfy the “flow” of products throughout the entire store
- Maintaining a friendly and easy going environment for all staff and customers
- Seek potential opportunities within the community for outreach and building partnerships
- Ability to post and keep the stores social media accounts up to date
- Hiring and training new staff members to maintain a fully working store schedule (no less than 5 employees on staff including the manager at any given time)
- Maintain steady communication through email / text / call with Director of Store Operations
- Maintain timely communication back via email to all HQ associates, Suppliers, Brand Representatives, etc.
- Upholding the uniform, nametag and cleanliness of all team members working at this location
- Twice a week maintenance of our Store Shake Bar machine
- Implement and uphold a store cleaning schedule along with regular expiry checks done throughout the entire store
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week. Typically the Store Manager is working steady days however exceptions will need to be made when training new staff and working large sales events
- Previous experience in management or in a role as team leader aren’t necessary but will greatly enhance applicants chances for interview
- Basic understanding of Social Media
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills are essential for this management position in a customer service driven business
