What this job involves.







A great opportunity is available for a dynamic and proactive Operations Manager to join our team managing x 2 shopping centres based on the lower North Shore. You will proactively supervise the day-to-day events to ensure the assets are running at their optimum with maintenance activities, capital works and tenancy delivery. The priority always will be the health and safety of all visitors and occupants, the presentation of the property and the implementation of client strategies - all being performed with minimal disruption to the tenants.

A snapshot of the role.

- Supervising the activities of engaged contractors to ensure a suitable environment for customers, staff, tenants, and confirming all services comply with WH&S; policies.

- Establishing quality standards for the sites, meeting and exceeding customer and retailer expectations.

- Managing annual budgets and reports.

- Providing a detailed 10-year Capex program that validates annual program and informs the owner of long-range funding requirements.

- Develop and implement a strategy to minimize customer and retailer disruption during development.







- Monitoring site fit-outs.

- Environmental management.

- Management of essential services.

- Working effectively in a team environment ensuring you maintain consistency and support to all colleagues and our client as required.

This role is all about organization and communication. Your ability to communicate with people at all levels combined with your passion for providing superior service to the client and retailers, will make you an ideal candidate.

A clear and proven understanding of WH&S; and risk management is a must have, along with related property, facilities management and operations management experience in a retail/ shopping centre environment.







You can resolve complex technical issues in a practical matter with the ability to work independently and make the right decisions. You display strong initiative to ensure that ongoing changes affecting facilities management are anticipated and managed.
